Discover the ancient tradition of Pu-erh Tea (Pu-li), a unique variety of fermented dark tea from China's Yunnan province. Unlike green or black teas, Pu-erh undergoes a natural microbial fermentation process (known as "ripening" for this dark style), which smooths out bitterness and creates a deep, incredibly rich flavor.
When brewed, Pu-erh yields a dark, reddish-brown liquor with a distinctive smooth, earthy, and slightly sweet profile. It is renowned for its low astringency and its ability to be re-steeped many times.

Traditional Brewing Instructions (Gongfu Style):

Use 1 heaping teaspoon of leaves for every 200ml of water.

Use freshly boiled water (100°C).

Rinse: Pour hot water over the leaves and immediately discard the water (this "wakes up" the tea).

Steep: Brew the first infusion for 20-30 seconds. Increase steeping time by 10 seconds for subsequent infusions.

Enjoy up to 8–10 infusions from the same leaves.
